Helen Marie Ostrander, 89, of Lakeview passed away Thursday, January 29, 2004 
in Greenville.  Mrs. Ostrander was born January 21, 1915, the daughter of 
Selden and Blanche Brayman.

On January 18, 1933, in Ionia County, she married Harold Ostrander.  He 
preceded her in death.  

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Leone and Tom Conner of 
Ionia, Laura Lee Carlson of Missouri, Gloria and James Cole of Sand Lake; 10 
grandchildren, James and Joy Cole of Trufant, David and Brenda Cole of 
Greenville, Jon and Sandy Cole of Lakeview, Valerie and Murray Wise, Marshall 
and Robin Johnson, all of Florida, Mitchall Johnson of Minnesota, Ron and 
Debbie Carlson of Iowa, Brad and Darci Carlson of California, Jackie and Dave 
Van Wyk of Ionia, Lori and John Card of Iowa; 29 great-grandchildren; five 
great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold 
Ostrander, in 1992.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Youngman-McCullough Chapel, Lakeview.  
The visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
