Belding- Scott Anthony Ostrander, of Belding, passed away Thursday afternoon, 
Sept. 12, 2013, at Spectrum Health, Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born on Sept. 25, 1962, in Belding, the son of Paul and JoAnn (Main) 
Ostrander.

Scott graduated from Belding High School and continued his education, 
completing an associate's degree at Grand Rapids Community College and a 
bachelor's degree at Ferris State University. He worked in several capacities 
during his lifetime including nearly 20 years at Gibson manufacturing, in the 
shipping and receiving area. Scott enjoyed camping, fishing and most of all, 
spending time with his grandchildren.

Scott leaves to cherish his memory his children, Preston S. Ostrander of 
Belding, and Hunter Lee of Ionia; his mother, JoAnn Marks of Greenville; 
grandchildren, Makenzie Ostrander and Cannon Ostrander; siblings, Skip (Mary) 
Ostrander of Sheridan, Kim (Joe) Hansen of Sidney and Kit Ostrander; several 
nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Ostrander.

A celebration of Scott's life will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Belding 
American Legion Post, 121 S. Broas St.
