Ionia Sentinel - 9 September 1936
The funeral services for Fred Ostrum were held Thursday afternoon, September 10, 
at 2 o'clock from the Stone funeral home with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating.  
Interment was at the Oak Hill cemetery.  Pall bearers were Alva Hill, Elmer 
Peterson, Nicholas Heufelder, Daniel Alexander, Fred Smith and Carl Slater, Mrs. 
Eva Towne had charge of the flowers.  Those attending from out of town were Mr and 
Mrs Fred Keeler and A J. Stingle of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs A. M. Eaves of 
Belding; Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Clark of Orleans Mr. and Mrs Bert Potter and John 
Hunter of Saranac.
