Osworth in the Luther addition, Sunday June 8th at the advanced age 81 years 6 months and 21 days. He has been a resident here for the past 8 years was a veteran of the Civil war having enlisted in 1862 and went out in Co D. 26 Mich. Inft. serving through the strife and was wounded in the battle of Reams Station. He resided on his farm near St. Louis Mich., until coming to this city. One son, six grand children and three great grand children. Rev. G.W. Maxwell officiated at the funeral held at the house Tuesday and the remains were taken to St. Louis in Oak Grove Cemetery for interment beside his wife.
