Mrs. Osworth was born March 17, 1867 at Marshall, Michigan, and died March 18, 1927, age 60 years. On December [unreadable date] she was married to James E. Osworth at St. Louis, Michigan and to this union was born one son and five daughters. The son, Mark, died in training at Camp Baltimore in 1918. The daughters are Mrs. Ray Kline of this city; Mrs. Henry Slock, of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Ronald Parks of Fenwick; Mrs. Merley McClow, of Belding, and Miss Libbie Osworth, of Belding. James E. Osworth passed away on March 7, 1923. The family has lived at their present location on Peck’s hill for twenty-two years. Mrs. Osworth was a well known member of the Rebekah lodge No. 60 also a member of the W.R.C. and Legion auxiliary. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Arthur Fitzjohn. Rev. Dunbar officiated. The body was buried at River Ridge cemetery.
