Lake Odessa Wave - July 10, 1947
           MRS. JOHN OTTO, 86, DIED MONDAY A. M.
   Mrs. Margaret Otto, 86 died at her home here early Monday morning following a
long illness.  She was born 
in Macomb county, N.Y., December 5, 1861, and came to Michigan in 1864 locating at
Sunfield.  She and her 
husband had resided in this vicinity since their marriage on July 3, 1888, with the
exception of a few years 
spent at Boyne Falls.
   Surviving are the husband John, three sisters, Mrs. Millie Garlinger, Miss Emma
Nott and Mrs. Louis Earle, all 
in Lake Odessa, and three brothers James Nott at Saranac, Alonzo and Harvey in Lake
Odessa.
   Funeral services were held at the Pickens funeral chapel Wednesday at 2 and
burial was in lakeside 
cemetery.  The Rev. Frank W. Moxon of Woodland, a former pastor of Calvary U.B.
church here, officiated.
