     JOSEPH ROBERT OVERBECK

Died November 15, 2025-age 61 of Saranac.
Born May 11, 1964 in Ionia, Son of William R.& Lillian L. (LeFevre) Overbeck.
Joseph married Barbara A.Leland on September 8, 1990 at St. Anthony's Catholic 
Church in Saranac.
He was a 1982 graduate of Saranac High School & a member of the St. Anthony's 
Catholic Church.
Joseph worked in Construction many years at Overbeck Construction.
He enjoyed grilling, woodworking or carving, & loved the outdoors.Surviving is 
his wife of 35 years, Barbara A. Overbeck of Saranac, Daughter, Amanda (Phil) 
Pomber of Mackinac Island, Grandson, Issac Pomber of Mackinac Island,Mother, 
Lillian Overbeck, Siblings, Michele(Ralpj) Westbrook, Bill (Deb) Overbeck, Doug 
(Suzi) Overbeck, Mary(Mark) Sheeran, Cathy (Greg) Usher, Sue (Phil) WIzorek, Ed 
(Jayne) Overbeck, Judy (Gary) McDurmon, Ron (Katie) Overbeck, John (Becky) 
Overbeck, Teresa (Mark) Philips, Mother & Father-in-law, John & June Leland, 
Brother-in-laws, Douglas (Angie) Leland, Craig (Talia)Leland, Jeffery Leland, 
Chuck (Teresa) Leland, Mike (Pam) Leland, & many nieces & nephews & cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Bill Overbeck Sr.,Brother-in-laws Barry 
Ferguson & Terry Warner, Nephews, Greg Westbrook, Ryan Overbeck & William 
Overbeck.
Rite of Committal at Saranac Cemetery.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, November 21 at 11:00a.m. At St. 
Anthony's Catholic Church in Saranac with Father Michael Goodwin, celebrant.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 20, from 4-7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Veteran Organizations.
