Ionia Weekly Standard - Friday, May 6, 1892

Mrs. Alice, wife of James H. Overheiser, died last evening, at a few minutes before

nine o'clock, after an illness of only four days. She was the oldest child of the 
family of Judge and Mrs. Myron Balcom. The remains will be removed to the Balcom 
homestead, in Berlin, on Saturday, from whence the funeral will be attended on
Sunday.
