Ionia Sentinel Standard-January 26, 1959

LYLE RICHARD OVERLEY
Lake Odessa -  Lyle Richard Overley, 57, 3498 Van Dyke avenue, Detroit, died 
Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Metropolitan hospital at Detroit. He had been in ill 
health for several years and had been a patient there for several weeks.

Born December 19, 1901 at lake Odessa, the son of Charles and Augusta  
(Cramer) Overley, he spent most of his life int he Lake Odessa area and had 
been a resident of Detroit the past 20 years. He was a former employe of 
Kaiser-Fraser Co.

Mr. Overley is survived by his wife, Fern, the former Fern Sutherland of lake 
Odessa; two brothers, John of Lansing and Willis of lake Odessa. Funeral 
services will be held at Pickens Funeral chapel at Lake Odessa, Thursday at 1 
p.m. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
