Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. January 24, 1963

Services Held For Mrs. Mable Overly
Mrs. Mable fern Overly, 67, of Detroit, passed away early Saturday morning at 
the Wayne County General Hospital, after a short illness but had been in ill 
health for several years.

A native of Eagle township, Mr. Overly had been a resident of Detroit since 
1920.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs Claud (Harriet) Haney of Lake Odessa; two brothers, 
Merle Sutherland Sr., of Lake Odessa and Vere Sutherland of New Port Rickey, 
Fla., nieces and nephews. Her husband Richard did about three years ago.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. Vernon Beardsey officiated.
