Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1970

Floyd F. Oversmith, 75, route 2, Belding, died Tuesday morning in Belding.

Born in Nashville, June 2, 1895, he was a self-employed cement finisher in 
Ionia county areas.

Survivors include his wife Cleo; four daughters, Mrs. Karl Waterman of 
Kalamazoo, Mrs. Lenwood Pufpaff of Battle Creek, Mrs. Kasper Kuiper of Portage, 
and Mrs. Charles Sheldon of Bath; two sons Erwin Oversmith of Lexington, Ky., 
and Kenneth of Bath; one sister, Mrs. Lila Talman of Belding, and one brother, 
Glen of Bath.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Services will be at Huffman funeral home in Belding at 1 pm Friday with the 
Rev. Wilford Wood of the Congregational church officiating. 

Burial will be in Union cemetery near Lacey, North of Battle Creek.
