Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Jan. 1, 1975

Services Held for Clark Oversmith
Funeral services for Clark E. Oversmith, 89, who passed away December 20 at the
Barry County Medical Care Facility, were held at the Leonard-Osgood Funeral Home at
Hastings, December 22, with burial in Fuller cemetery.

He had been at the facility for 7 1/2 years.

Mr. Oversmith farmed most of his life in the Woodland and Carlton townships, was 
employed by the Barry County Road Commission for many years and also worked as a 
carpenter.

His first wife was Emma May Haskell of Lake Odessa and she passed away in 1919. He
later married Ida Mae McCaulley, who passed away May 3, 1975.

Survivors include a son and daughter of Battle Creek; grandchildren and great-
grandchildren,  a stepson,  a sister and a brother.
