Mr. Overstreet died suddenly Monday noon while helping a physician lift her sister into a bed after she had suffered a stroke. Miss Overstreet did not regain consciousness before her death. Clinton J. Overstreet, the only son of Edward Overstreet, arrived Tuesday noon from Ypsilanti only a few moments before the death of his aunt. Miss Overstreet was a resident of Canada until about eight years ago when she came to Grand Rapids to live. She came to Ionia to live with Mrs. Smith about four years ago. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Smith of Ionia and a brother, James Overstreet, of Grand Rapids. Plans for the funeral have not been made yet. Double funeral services for Miss Eliza Overstreet and Edward Overstreet will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at the Church of Christ. The brother and sister, whose deaths occurred only a few hours apart, the brother's Monday and the sister's Tuesday, will rest in caskets exactly alike. Burial will be made in a single grave in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
