The aged man’s body was found in the morning when he failed to make his appearance as usual and the landlady went to investigate. Sheriff William Franch was called and he notified Coroner B.J. Boynton who decided stomach disorders from which he had suffered for several years were responsible for Mr. Riley’s death sometime during the night. Mr. Riley is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Renah Tractor, Grand Rapids. His estranged wife, Rose, also survives. [Transcriber's Note: The death certificate and the cemetery listing both give his name as Riley D. Owen. There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in River Ridge Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/o/owen10071gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/mifiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
