Ionia Daily Standard, Mon. Oct. 28, 1901
A pitiful case at Palo for some months has been the illness of Mr. and Mrs. 
Henry Owens, an aged and poor couple who were bed-ridden paralytics.  Mr. Owens 
was buried yesterday at age 70 years; the wife now lies apparently unconscious, 
simply wasting away.
