Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard Sat., Aug. 16, 1947
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:15 from the Stone funeral 
home for Mrs. Ida Owen, 72, who died Wednesday at the Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital of injuries received in a freak autmobile accident at her home at 
1062 West Main Street early Tuesday eveinng.  The Rev. Wayne Davis officiated 
with interment in Woodard Lake Cemetery.

Palbearers werer Jerry Selleck, Dean Selleck, Joe Selleck and Kenneth 
Selleck.  The V.F.W. auxiliary 3732 was an honorary escort at the funeral home.

Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Selleck, Cleve Selleck, Dean 
Selleck, Jerry Selleck, Charles Henry Selleck, and Mr. and Mrs. Orville 
Bollinger, all of Orleans; Mrs. and Mrs. John Scott of Lyons; Mr. and Mrs. 
Carlton Davis of Edenville; Mrs. Gordon Miller of Fowler,; Mrs. and Mrs. Joe 
Selleck, Mrs. John Mack and Mrs. Cleobelle Minier of Grand Rapids; Mr and Mrs. 
James Little of Palo; Mr. and Mrs. Miles Church and Miss Ethel Selleck of 
Jackson; Mr. and Mrs. Al Cordes of Spring Lake: Mrs. Bernadine Hitchcock of 
Lansing; and Miss Della Aubill and Miss Effie Aubill of Belding.
