The Knights Templar, Blue lodge of the Masons attended in a body. The floral offerings were many and beautiful and one piece consisted of flowers made into an American flag. The bearers were Alfred R. Locke, F.O. Eldred, Fred Buck, Leo Bull, Alex Minty and Herb Robb. On account of the prevailing influenza the body was not taken inside the church but left outside near the door while the services were being held. Rev. E.E. Branch officiated and called attention to the gold star placed upon the service flag of the church for him.
