Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Helen Thwaites Owens, age 95, formerly of Ionia, passed away at her home in 
Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002.  She was born the daughter of 
Harry and Ida Reiger Thwaites.

Her parents, husband Paul, four brothers and two sisters preceded Helen in 
death.  Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Freeman; sister, Virginia Roberts of 
Ionia; sister-in-law, Mary Thwaites of Ionia, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral services.  Burial arrangements are being handled by 
the Grinsteiner Funeral Home in Indianapolis.
