CLARENCE E.PACKARD
BELDING-Clarence E. Packard, 85, 40 Belhaven, died Wednesday at Grand Rapids 
Osteopathic Hospital after an illness of two weeks.

Mr. Packard was born Aug. 19, 1892 at Fremont. He was retired from Belding 
Police Department and was a member of Belding Free Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Eva; a son, Keith, Kansas City, MO.; two step-sons, 
Rollo and Fred Kilborn, both of Belding; three sisters, Mrs.Julia Strickler, 
Grand Ledge, Mr Edna Hatch, Muskegon, Mrs.William (Verna) Kelley, Greenville; a 
brother, Leo, Grand Rapids; two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, several 
step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:30 Saturday at Belding Free Methodist Church, the 
Rev. Harold Jochim officiating. Interment will be in Belding Free Methodist
Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Charles M.Courser Funeral Home, 
Belding.
  
Memorial contributions may be made to Beldinh Free Methodist Church.
