Carl D. Page 87 Died Last Monday

Carl D. Page, 87, retired executive of the Nestle Mfg. Co., passed away Monday
forenoon at St. Mary’s hospital, Grand Rapids where he had been a patient for three
days.

Mr. Page passed away on his birthday, May 29.  He had been a summer resident here
with his brother F.A. Page, a number of years and after his retirement, made his
permanent home here for the past several years.

Mr. Page was a graduate of the State University of Iowa in 1894 with a degree in
science.  He spent several years in England in the interests of the Nestle Co. as
well in this country.

He is survived by his brother, two nephews and a niece.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 3:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. F.J. Fitch officiated.
