(Duell) Page of Lyons, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in Lansing. She was born July 28, 1929 in Hastings the daughter of Hollis and Pauline (Gazella) Duell. Maxine was a graduate of SS Peter & Paul Academy, Class of 1947. She was voted Snow Queen in 1947. Maxine married Darrell Page on August 28, 1948 in Ionia. He preceded her in death in 1996. She worked for Michigan Bell for over 30 years and was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years, golfing, reading, flower gardens, and loved the Detroit Tigers & Michigan State Spartans. Maxine is survived by her children, Barbara (William) Thomas of Lyons and Kevin (Sharon) Page of Lyons; brother, Robert (Joyce) Duell of PawPaw; grandchildren, Joel (Angie) Seiler of Portland, Connie (Abe) Sines of Portland, Jason (Tiffany) Seiler of Portland, Carrie (Joe) Heack of Grand Ledge, Terri (Rick) Thomas of Ionia, Mike Thomas of Ionia, Patrick (Kristine) Roundtree of Ionia, Sarah Volpi of Vermont, William Jr. (Kristy) Thomas of Lyons, Lisa (Courtney) Hill of Saranac, and Terry Page (fiance’, Jody Sewell) of Ionia; 21 great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Darrell Page; daughter, Christine Seiler (2008); son, Terry Page (1971); grandson, Daron Page; great- grandson, Taggart Sines; three brothers and two sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 29, 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Tom Boufford celebrant. Rite of Committal at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Green Acres Retirement Living, Ionia Area Hospice, or Family’s Choice.
