The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 14, 1928
Funeral services for R. Lee Page, Sr., whose death occurred Thursday morning, 
were very largely attended Saturday afternoon from the home on East Main 
street at  2:30 o’clock.  Rev. Edwin G. White, rector of St. John’s Episcopal 
church, was in charge of the services.  Among the large number of Ionians who 
attended were the Elk’s lodge and representatives of Mr. Page’s business 
associates in Ionia.

Honorary pallbearers were William B. Heath, Dr. C. E. Hathaway, Otto Rubach, 
Ed H. Spender, Herbert Cooper and George E. Nichols.  The casket was carried 
to the grave by Harvey E. Kidder, Thane Benedict, Lawrence I. Hale, Fred T. 
Wertman, Glenn D. Mathews and William H. Dilley.  Mrs. Alex Robertson and Mrs. 
Adah Owsley had charge of the arrangement of the flowers.  Interment was in 
Highland Park cemetery.
