She was born April 5, 1909 in Lowell Township, the daughter of Ellis William and Mary Belle (Courter) Rollins. She married Herman Page in 1929 in Lowell Township. She became a Christian in the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and had great love for the Scriptures and Hymns of the faith and music. Thelma farmed with her husband for 57 years in the Saranac area. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church as S.S. teacher, steward, pianist and organist for many years. Thelma is survived by sons; Kenneth L and Angie Page of Jackson, Robert H. Page of Saranac, Donald E. and Sherry Page of Texas and Thomas D. and Colleen of Brown City; daughters, Carol R. and William Beecher of Okemos, Constance E. and Dean Troyer of Saranac and Deborah J. and Sam Lindahl of Indiana; brother Roger B. Rollins and Mary of Ohio; sisters, Ruth E. and Eugene Rifenberg of Grand Rapids and Theresa J. and Charles Postumus of Kentwood. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Herman who passed away December 1, 1986, 1 son, her daughter in law, as well as her brothers and sisters and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Lake Funeral home in Saranac Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev Don Graybill and Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to make memorial contributions to Gideons or Olive Branch Mission.
