The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 20, 1954


Mrs. Gertrude Page, 84, a lifelong resident of Ionia, died at 6:30 a.m. at 
Traverse City Tuesday.  Mrs. Page had been ill for a number of years and her 
condition had been critical for several months.

No funeral arrangements have been made pending location of her only son Rufus 
whose home is in Toledo, Ohio.

Mrs. Page lived for many years in the home which is now owned by Dr. and Mrs. 
Richard E. Campbell and Mr. Page was a prominent Ionia businessman before his 
death.

Subsequent Publication:  Wednesday, July 21, 1954

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Page, who died Tuesday morning, will be 
held Friday morning at 9:30 at Myers funeral home and at St. John’s Episcopal 
church at 10 a.m.  Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.  The body will 
be at the funeral home Thursday noon.
