PAGE One of Ionia's Noblest Women Answers the Summons of the Great Reapers Mrs. Amarilla O. (unreadable word) of Wellington O. Page died this morning at 5:39 o'clock, at the home on East Main street which she graced as a wife, mother, and most gracious entertainer for so many years. Mrs. Page was subject to severe asthmatic attacks and organic heart trouble and while death at her age and weakened condition was liable to occur at any time and with but little warning, the announcement of the end, nevertheless, was a shock to very many. She was a resident of Ronald at the time of her marriage to Mr. Page on Nov. 9, 1860, when she came to the county seat and here has resided continuously ever since. Her family was a large one, and among the older ones of Ionia county, but few of the direct of kin survive her. R. Lee Page, her son, and two brothers, Nathan Heath of Palo and Frank Heath of Vickeryville. Mrs. Page was a most devout and consistent worshiper at the Christian's alter. She was a member of the Methodist-Episcopal church, and her interest; and benevolence were sources of the greatest support to her unto the end.
