Lake O. Wave-Times - Friday, April 11, 1919

Mrs. M.J. Painter of Lowell Died Monday

Mrs. M.J. Painter, the sister of Mrs. Henry Hunter of this village and mother of 
Mrs. G.H. Cheetham of Lowell, but long resident of lake Odessa, died at the 
Cheetham home Monday.

The funeral was held at the Methodist church in Lowell where she was an official 
member for many years.

Mrs. Painter was well know here in Lake Odessa where she made many friends while 
keeping house for Rev. Thos. Laity several years after the death of his wife. 
She was a quiet lovable woman and mother and the friends have the sympathy of 
many friends here.
