Francis Leroy Palethorpe, 82, of Greenville died Monday, July 9, 2007 at his 
home.  Leroy was born December 30, 1924 in Greenville the son of Charles and 
Bertha Van Hoose Palethorpe.  

Leroy was a veteran of World War II proudly serving in the United States Army.  
He worked at Gibson’s retiring in 1987.   

Leroy was  married on July 20, 1946 in Belding to Leah Rich and she survives 
along with  his sister in law, Barbara Palethorpe of Belding and several nieces 
and nephews.  Leroy was preceded by his parents, his brothers, J.C., Ed, Chuck, 
and Corky(Thomas) and his sister, Mary.    

In keeping with his wishes no services will take place.  Following private 
family visitation interment will take place in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, 
Belding.  Memorial 
contributions may be given to a charity of one’s choice.  Care and service were 
entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
