The Belding Banner, Thursday, March 14, 1912

Tuesday, March 12th, was the sixty-first anniversary of the birth of Amos W. 
Palmer, for many years a prominent businessman of Orleans, and he enjoyed the 
day very much.  Wednesday morning at six o’clock he had passed to the great 
beyond.  His death was a result of a sudden attack of heart disease.  The 
funeral will be held Friday at the Orleans church at 2 p.m. and the remains 
will be laid to rest in the Orleans cemetery.
