The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, February 16, 1920

Mrs. Celinda Palmer, for many years a resident of Ionia, and a widow of 
Charles Palmer, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Gebhart, in 
Detroit, Sunday.  Mrs. Palmer’s maiden name was Celinda Kitson and she was 
related to the large family of that name, who live in Ionia and vicinity.  
Mrs. Palmer was well know in Ionia where the family lived in the last house on 
West Lincoln avenue for many years, being one of those worthy homemakers and 
kindly neighbors whose loss is always felt in the circle of family and friends.
