The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 1, 1996
Nellie Palmer, 82, of Pensacola, Fla. Died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996.  She was 
the daughter of Albert and Edith Wise of Belding and married Harold Palmer in 
1938.  She and Harold were the owners of Fairway Floor Covering in Ionia for 
over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Harold K. Palmer of Pensacola; daughter, Erva 
Asiala of Saginaw; three sons, John of Raleigh, N.C., Raymond of Grand Rapids, 
and Richard of Ionia; a sister, Freda Townsend of Belding; 15 grandchildren; 
and several great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Seventh Day 
Adventist Church, 9799 W. Baker Rd., Greenville.  Memorial contributions may 
be made to The Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 5725 N. Ninth Ave., 
Pensacola, Fla. 32504.
