Raymond Lee Palmer, aged 60, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, went to be 
with his Lord Wednesday June 14, 2006. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Holly. Also surviving, to share fond 
memories of Ray are his children; Wendy (Kyle) Bouck, Jennifer (Rob) Istvan, 
Jim (Brandy) Palmer and Travis (Nikki) Palmer;stepchildren Debbie Mehlert, Jon 
Jr,(Leslie)De Vries, Mary Beth (Larrry Jr.) Erhardt, and Robert (Jackie) De 
Vries. Ray will be sorely missed by his 17 grandchildren, who were the joy of 
his life.

Memorial service will be Saturday 11 a.m. at Tallmadge Wesleyan Community 
Church, Rev. Kurt Stevens, officiating. Inurnment at Rosedale Memorial Park.

The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. 
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ray's name to 
Tallmadge Wesleyan Community Church, O-1428 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 
49504 or the American Cancer Society. O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst 3980 Cascade Rd. 
Grand Rapids.
