July 19, 1932 Ira Palmiter Ira Palmiter, 43, a native of Saranac, but a resident of Lansing, died suddenly at Camp Grayling Sunday evening of apoplexy, where he had been in training. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at a Catholic church in Lansing. Burial will be in Lansing. He was the son of the late Albert Palmiter, of Saranac. He was a painter and interior decorator by trade. The widow and five small children survive. Healso leaves hismother Mrs. Ella Palmiter, Lansing; four brothers, Dick and Lester, Detroit; Paul and Harold, Lansing, and a sister, Mrs.Ford Rowley, Ionia.
