Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 27 Feb 1959

Mrs. Ida I. Pankhurst, 84, widow of the late Ionia physician, Dr. Charles T.
Pankhurst, died at M.J. Clark Memorial home at Grand Rapids, Thursday evening
after a brief illness.

Mrs. Pankhurst was born August 17, 1874 and had lived at the Clark Memorial home
the past eight and one-half years.  Dr. and Mrs. Pankhurst went to live at the
home in 1950 and he died in 1952.  Surviving is one niece, Mrs. Ted Topping at
Sharon Hill, Pa.

Funeral service will be held at the Clark Memorial home chapel Saturday at 2
p.m. with the Rev. Keith Goodwin of First Methodist church of Ionia officiating.
 Burial will be at Highland Park cemetery at Ionia at 3:30 p.m.  The body of
Mrs. Pankhurst will remain at the Greenhoe-VanZee funeral home in Grand Rapids
until Saturday noon.
