Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Nov. 23, 1979

BELDING- Amy I. Pardee, 89, 920 Jay St., Belding, died Wednesday morning at the 
Belding Nursing home after a long illness.

She was born Sept. 22, 1890 in Mecosta County, the daughter of Steven and 
Angeline Myers.

Mrs. Pardee attended rural schools. She lived in the Lyons area until moving to 
Belding in 1955.

She was married to Frank Ockert. He died in 1926.

She then married Calvin Castle. He died in 1950.

She was then married to David Pardee in 1970.

Survivors include her husband, David; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Grove, of 
Lansing, Mrs. Beauluh Brand, of Holt, and Mrs. Alberta Montambo, of Ravenna; a 
sister, Mrs. Gladys Delong, of Remus; 33 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 
29 great-great grandchildren, two step daughters, Mrs. Jennie Priest, of 
Muskegon; and Mrs. Jessie Hoxie, of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p at the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, 
with the Rev. Kenneth Martin of the Community Baptist Church Belding, 
officiating.

Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Ionia.
