March 8, 2018 MARIAN PARK, 79 Marian L.(Minier) Park, 79, of Belding, went to be with her Lord on Monday evening, March 5, 2018, at Metron of Belding. Marian was born on May 14, 1938, in Ionia, the daughter of Maurice and Ruth (Munn) Minier. Marian graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1956. She was a past member of Belding Bible Church where she served as Deaconess and a Sunday School teacher, Recently, she attended Shiloh Community Church and restore Church. She worked as a stenographer in Marquette, Michigan and as a Customer Service Representative at Amway Corporation. She was also a member of Sheridan VFW ladies Auxiliary. Marian loved people and spent many hours babysitting and sewing for her family as well as several high school groups, her church and other public organizations. She was a Christian woman who loved her family and lived her life as a Servant to the Lord. Marian married Leonard park, the love of her life, on Jan. 29, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; R. Dale Minier, two sisters; Alice Woodhams and Shirley Larson, sister-in-law; Betty Minier and grandson; Daniel Jay Cahill. Marian is loved and survived by her daughter, Gail (Gary) Olger of Greenville, Rhonda (Gordon Ray) Lake of Orleans, Carmen (John) Cahill of Ionia, Step-daughter, Debra Mellema of Six lakes, brother; M. Elwin (Brenda) Minier, sister-in-law Bobbie Minier, many grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 9., at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Shane Prewitt and Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Orleans township cemetery.
