                              STELLA PARKE

MUIR - Stella Parke, 88, 0f 123 Superior St. Muir, died Sunday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.

She was born on September 11,1893, in Madison County, Ky., the daughter of 
Robert and Lula Cosby.

Her husband, James preceded her in death in 1945.

She came to Muir in 1961 and was a receptionist for the Hull Memorial Chapel in 
Muir.

She was the oldest member of the Lyons Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son; Harold of Waco, Ky., 6 daughters; Mrs.Bernice Brandt of 
Richmond,Ky., Mary Parke of Lexington, Ky., Mrs.Sybil Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, 
Mrs.Jamie Hull of Muir, Mrs.Thelma Matiash of Whitehall, Mrs.Norma Bow of 
Monroe; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. from the Lyons Baptist Church the 
Rev.Paul Carmichael officiating.

She will be take to Richmond on Wednesday to Funeral services there on Thursday.

Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. 

A Memorial has been established for the Family Center of the Lyons Baptist 
Church in the care of the funeral chapel.
