Sentinel Standard – 5 April, 1941
Funeral services for Edward R. Parker, Easton township supervisor, who died 
suddenly Tuesday afternoon were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Myers 
funeral home. Rev. Henry A. Hanson of the St. John’s Episcopal Church 
officiated and interment was at Easton cemetery.

The bearers were all members of the board of supervisors, Vern Brown, John 
Welch, Dan J. Campau, Erwin Redemsky, Floyd Berger and Wilson Keefer.

Ionia county courthouse employees and the board of supervisors attended the 
service in a group.
