Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 28 Mar 1955

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Phelps 
funeral chapel for Orville Parker, 68, of 561 State street.  He died Sunday 
afternoon, March 27 at the Eckert Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Mr. Parker was born Nov. 22, 1886 in Fairplains township, Montcalm county and 
resided most of his life in Ionia.  He was employed at the Ypsilanti Reed 
Furniture Co. and by the Banhagel Construction Co.  He is survived by one 
nephew, Virgil Dunn of Saginaw.

Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
