Parker, at the home on West Lincoln avenue, Sunday afternoon, was largely attended, all the rooms being filled with sympathizing friends. Rev. J. R. Niergarth, pastor of the Evangelical church, conducted the service, and the singing was by Mrs. Poer and Mrs. Todd. The Masonic ritual service followed, about 20 members of No. 36 being present, under direction of C. A. Ireland, W. M. Theso also conducted the service at the grave, in Oak Hill cemetery. There was an abundance of beautiful floral offerings, including set pieces from the Masons and the K.O.T.M.M. The bearers were W. F. Marquette, Geo. J. Cutler, Ed. I. Arnold, F. C. Macomber, Albert Russell and R. K. Ross. Mr. Parker was a man highly esteemed and generally liked, and there is a general felling of sadness at his sudden taking away in the early prime of manhood.
