Lake Odessa – Mrs. Sylvia M. Parker, 84, of 606 First Street, died at Pennock
hospital at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning after a long illness.  She had been
hospitalized four weeks.  She was born August 18, 1880 at Lowell, the daughter
of Francis and Rebecca King Walker.  Following the death of her husband, Arthur
W. Parker February 28, 1927 she moved from Parma to the Lake Odessa area where
she had since resided.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Delmer Gardner and Mrs. Gaylen Haas of Lake
Odessa, Mrs. Frank Welch, Owosso; one son, Wallace of Livonia; six grand and six
great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Pickens funeral chapel with burial
at the cemetery at Parma.  The Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.
