Beulah J. Parker, 96, passed away Monday, March 10, 2003, at Heartland Health 
Care Center, Ionia.  She was born March 18, 1906 in Saranac, the daughter of 
Cassius and Maude Williams.

Mrs. Parker was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Parker, on Nov. 10, 1988; 
daughter, Joyce Scheurer, on Nov. 24, 1998; and son-in-law, Donald North, in 
1994.  She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Uldene North, Norene 
and Merrell Ketchum; grandchildren, Sharon Forquer, Robert Scheurer Jr., Cathy 
Johnson, Sandi Biezais, Michael North, Merrell Ketchum III, Linda Allen; and 
numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home-Cook 
Chapel, 220 Rich St., Ionia, with the Rev. Jim Bennett, pastor of First Baptist 
Church of Ionia, officiating.  Interment is in Easton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday 
at the funeral home.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to 
the American Cancer Society of Heartland Center in memory of Beulah J. Parker.
