Sentinel-Standard - Monday, July 7, 1969

A former Ionia resident, Mrs. Blanche H. Parker, 84, of 38143 Richland, 
Livonia, died Monday at Botsford General hospital in Farmington.

She was born December 16, 1884 in Sidney, the daughter of George E. and Ella M. 
Hall. In 1911 she was married to Judson A. Simmons and lived 18 years in Easton 
township. He preceded her in death May 9, 1931 in Ionia.

February 1, 1941 she was married to Wallace B. Parker and he survives, also a 
daughter, Mrs. Evelyn L. Simmons Parker of Warren and a son, Lyle E. Simmons of 
Detroit; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lucille M. Montgomery of Ionia; eight 
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at R.G. and G.R. Harris funeral 
home at 15451 Farmington road, Livonia. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 
3 pm at Sidney cemetery.
