IRMA J. PARKER
IONIA -Irma J. Parker, 60, of Ionia died Wednesday at Ionia County Memorial
Hospital.

She was born in Sheridan Dec. 11, 1929, the daughter of Jean and Goldie Cook.

She attended Sheridan High School and was married to Donald P. Parker Sr. of Ionia.
She was a cook at Haber's and Corcoran's restaurants in Ionia.

She was a member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary, Sheridan.

Surviving are her husband Donald; three sons, Richard Houghton of Kingston, Shane 
Houghton and Donald Parker Jr., both of Ionia; eight grandchildren; two brothers,
Jessie Cook of Stanton and Richard Cook of Jackson; a sister, Shirley Stedley of Indiana;
and one grandmother, Goldie Cook of Greenville.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Dallas and Michael Houghton, both of Ionia.

Private funeral services were held at Cook Funeral Home.

Burial was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
