Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1953

Ira E. Parker, 71, died Tuesday at his home in Fairplains township, Montcalm 
county, where he had lived all his life.

Funeral services will be attended Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the 
Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan, with burial in Fairplains cemetery.

The Rev. Jewel Bolejack of Ionia will officiate.

Surviving Mr. Parker are three sons, Russell of Ionia, Gerald of Detroit, and 
Carlton of Fenwick.

Mr. Parker was married in 1905 to Mattie Janes whose death occurred February 
19, 1953. He was born February 1, 1882.
