He had been in failing health for several years. He had been an iron molder by trade but on account of his health had not worked at his trade for many years. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. of which he was a past noble grand. During the winter months he had been making his home with his sister Mrs. Grace Lane at Flint. Besides Mrs. Lane he is survived by two other sisters Mrs. Mabel Francisco at Michigan Center, and Mrs. Olga Arents at St. Helena, California. Funeral services were held from the Wortley & Baine chapel here Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Stephen J. Paull, pastor of the Lake Odessa Congregational church, officiating.
