The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 15, 1938

George C. Parks died at his home in Pewamo Saturday night at 10:20 o’clock at 
the age of 84 years, 5 months and 23 days.  Mr. Parks had been in poor health 
for several months and had been confined to his bed the last two and one-half 
months.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at the home.  Burial 
will be at East Plains cemetery beside his wife, who died 16 years ago.  

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Emily Armbrustmacher of 
Carson City, Mrs. Eleanor Fenn of Lansing and Mrs. Charlotte Bates and two 
sons, Lonn Parks of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Ernest of Pewamo.
