Sept. 10, 1920 Albert H. Parks at Rest The funeral service for Albert H. Parks was held at 3 o’clock at the late residence, 301 Harter street and at 3:30 at the Church of Christ, on Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Lahr of Lake Odessa officiated and the music was furnished by Mrs. Eugene Smith and Mrs. Willis Peck. The services were largely attended, considering the day and the floral offerings were many and beautiful. The bearers were from the Greenville order of Oddfellows, and the ritual services as given by the Ionia Oddfellows. Interment in the family lot at Oak Hill. Those here from out of the city to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Moses Keller, Mrs. Jesse Parks and children of Muskegon, Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Miller and two children of Clarksville, Mr. and Mrs. Briggs and two children of Port Huron, Abe Miller of Ovid, Mr. and Mrs. Beemer and son, Forest, of Belding, Mr. and Mrs. John Stahl and family and Sam Stahl and family and Miss Edna Miller of Elmdale, Pearl Douglass of Manceona, Mr. Vaughn and R.S. Roland of Saranac. Additional Comments: Burial is in the Bowne Mennonite Cemetery, Kent County.
