LYONS- Kenneth Parks, 68, of 226 State, Pewamo, died December 25 at a Grand 
Rapids hospital following a short illness.

Born in Fowler, December 20, 1903, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Parks. 
He was married to Dorothy Hattis in Lyons December 24, 1927 and was a retired 
employee of TRW company of Portland. 

He was a member of the former Pewamo Masonic lodge and present member of Lyons 
Masonic lodge.

Besides his wife, Dorothy, he leaves four sons, Lawrence of Lyons, Lauron of 
Maple Rapids, Jack and David Gene of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Kirvin 
of Maple Rapids, Mrs. Harriet McQuillian of Lyons and Mrs. Beverly Simon of 
Pewamo; 21 grandchildren; two brothers, Earl of St. Johns and Ernest of Fowler; 
sister, Mrs. Nina Hattis of Pewamo.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Pewamo United Methodist church. 
Rev. Wayne Sparks will officiate and interment will be at East Plains cemetery.

Mr. Parks will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home until noon Tuesday.
