May 2, 1994 MUIR- Dorothy M. Parks, 88, of Pewamo, died Sunday, May 1 1994 in St. Johns. She was born Dec, 26, 1905, in Pewamo the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Lynch) Hattis. She was graduated from Pewamo High School in 1924, and was a retired employee of AC Sparkplug. She had been a member of Pewamo United Methodist Church since 1920 and was a more than 50 year member of Lyons Lodge No. 334, Order of the Eastern Star. She was married to Kenneth Parks in December 1927. He died in December 1971. Surviving are three sons, Lauren Parks of Maple Rapids, Lawrence Parks of Greenville and David Parks of Ionia; two daughters, Harriet McQuillan of Lyons and Beverly Simon of Pewamo; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. One son and one daughter preceded her in death. The family will be at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Order of the Eastern Star services will be at the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday from Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir. Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery, Pewamo. Memorials have been established for the Lyons Temple Association and Hazel Findley Manor, St. Johns, in care of the funeral home. Additional Comments: E.
