Donavon "Mick" Parks Jr., age 59, formerly of Lake Odessa passed away with his 
family by his side at Spectrum Health System Blodgett Campus.  

Donavon was born to Donavon Parks Sr. and Lois (Parsons) Hull on June 18, 1955 
in Lansing.  He attended Grand Ledge High school and spent many years working 
for GM.  In 1975 he married Lou Anne Kaufman and she survives.  Donavon enjoyed 
hunting, fishing, gardening and canning along with spoiling grandchildren. 

He is survived by: wife Lou Anne, children Nicole (Tony) Jados, Jennifer (Carl 
Foster Jr.) Parks; grandchildren Chelsea Foster, Matt, Nathan, Zachary and 
Elizabeth Jados; siblings Daralee (Randy) Graham, Sue (Frank) Spagnuolo; step 
father Richard Hull along with several nieces and nephews.  Preceding him in 
death are: father Donavon Parks Sr., mother Lois Hull, step mother Marge Parks, 
in-laws Donavon (Vera) Kaufman. 

A celebration of Donavon's life was planned for Friday, October 17, 2014 at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.  Donations may be made to the Salvation 
Army or Humane Society in your area.
